"A young girl or boy is visited by an old and potent magician, and has to run away from their former life, as the minions of the great evil attack. They meet companions stalwart and suspicious, to finally confront the great evil, as fate has declared. Meanwhile there will be great adventures and perils, especially as any use of magic will get the attention of the evil.
We are going to play the beginnings of such a story, but we, the group, are creating it and the elements (the great evil and its minions, the home of the young hero) at the table. We will not have the time to play out the entire saga, but will play out the start to get a taste.
We use the rules for D&D 5, but there is a particular structure around them: the characters are of different levels and the players have strictly defined but real narrative power over various aspects of the game world.
You can come to the table with a companion character of fourth level, but there are also pregenerated characters. Someone has to play the fated youngster, and someone the wise mage.
The default language is English. We will play in Norwegian if and only if all the players are okay with it.
